Under the leadership of Head Coach Eric Iverson, the 2015 NEO Softball team defeated Connors State College 4-1 to win the NJCAA Region 2/District B Championship and advance the NJCAA Division 1 Softball National Tournament in St. George, Utah. In the Opening round the Lady Norse defeated Eastern Arizona 8-6, followed by a 6-4 upset over No. 1 ranked Salt Lake 6-4.
Defeating Blinn College in the third round 5-2, NEO advanced to face Chipola College in the winners bracket final. Dropping their first game in postseason play, the Lady Norse responded with a comfortable 10-1 victory over Chattanooga State to advance to the National Championship game.
Finishing the season as National Runner-Up with a overall record of 50-16,the Lady Norse set a school record for most runs scored in a season (479), averaging 7.26 runs per game. Quincy Charleston, Raven Campos, and Rylee Bayless were selected as NJCAA All-Americans. Four were named to the NJCAA National All-Tournament team, Quincy Charleston, Madison VanBurkleo, Rylee Bayless, and Harli Wheeler. The 2015 National Player of the Year award was presented to Rylee Bayless.
