Following his high school graduation in Dayton Ohio, Matt Blair became an NEO Golden Norseman.  In 1968 and 1969 he helped to lead his team to a NJCAA National Championship.  Blair went on to play at Iowa State and was later drafted by the Minnesota Vikings, where he enjoyed a 12 year professional career.  Blair played in six consecutive Pro Bowls and two Super Bowls. Blair was given All-Pro honors in 1980 and was named to the NFL All-Rookie Team and honored as most valuable linebacker in 1981.  He is second on the Vikings all-time list for tackles.
