Hall of Fame
Bill Christenson graduated
from NEO in 1956 with an Associates
of Arts Degree in Agriculture. He
was selected the Outstanding
Freshmen in the Agriculture
Department in 1955. Bill transferred
to Oklahoma State University where
he received his Bachelor of Science
Degree.
Bill owned and operated
Miami Pest and Termite Control
for 42 years. He was recognized as
NEO’s Outstanding Alumnus in 1981
and was a very active member of the
NEO Development Foundation.
Bill Christenson will be
remembered at NEO for his lifetime dedication to NEO athletics and
his great support of Golden Norse Athletic Programs. He served NEO
as a bus driver, instructor, member of the football chain gain crew and
a very strong financials supporter and booster of all athletic programs.
His support has impacted the lived of countless Golden Norse athletes
throughout the years. Bill Christenson truly exemplifies the NEO
Tradition of “Once a Norseman, Always a Norseman.”
