Rosalind Ross was a standout member of the 1999 and 2000 Lady Norse basketball teams. A dynamic scorer and leader on the court, Ross was named a two-time NJCAA All-American.  She averaged 17.1 points per game and setting a school record for career three-pointers (190). She was pivotal in leading the Lady Norse to a fourth-place finish at the 2000 NJCAA National Tournament.

After her successful career at NEO, Ross transferred to the University of Oklahoma, where she played for the Sooners in 2001 and 2002. She was a key contributor to the 2001 National Runner-Up team and earned a spot on the 2001 Big 12 All-Tournament Team for her exceptional postseason performance.

In 2002, Rosalind achieved a lifelong dream when she was selected in the first round of the WNBA Draft by the Los Angeles Sparks as the 16th overall pick. Unfortunately, a knee injury prior to the season cut her professional career short before she could appear in a WNBA game. Rosalind Ross leaves a legacy of one of the most talent women’s players in OU and NEO history.
