Hall of Fame
Hart, a graduate of Tulsa Webster High School, was a third baseman for Coach Homa Thomas’ Golden Norsemen in 1959. He was a member of the team that finished fourth at the NJCAA World Series. As a Norseman, Hart finished the season with an outstanding batting average of .430. He was also a standout for the NEO football team and was a member of the 1959 NJCAA National Championship squad where he won accolades as a JUCO All-American quarterback. Hart coached high school baseball for many years and had three state championship teams in 1969, ‘70, and ‘85. He was named Tulsa World Coach of the Year in 1985, and was elected to the Oklahoma Coaches Hall of Fame in 1988, the Webster High School Hall of Fame in 1994, and the Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame in 2000.
