Started as an assistant coach at Ouachita Baptist University in 2018. During her time at Ouachita she helped assist the team to two GAC conference tournament appearances as well as helped coach the GAC player of the year and setter of the year. 

As a native of Dos Palos, California, Alli spent her undergraduate volleyball career at Southern Arkansas University. Playing in 481 sets since O’Banion’s Freshman year of 2014 she earned three-time All-GAC awards for her accomplishments on the court. She finished her career with 34 double-figure kill matches and 56 matches with at least 3.0 total blocks. In her final season, O’Banion became the 8th player in the Great American Conference Volleyball history with over a 1,000 career kills and the seventh with more than 300 total blocks. O’Banion also became the fourth player with 1,000 plus kills in the rally scoring era, the third player with 300 plus total blocks and the top player to reach both milestones as a Middle Blocker/Right Side Hitter.
