Game 1- 2/16/26- The Norsemen baseball team traveled to Parsons, KS for a doubleheader against Labette Community College. The Norsemen started the game off strong in the first inning with a two run home run from
Raine Kreklewetz. They go back-to-back with
Camden Ryan hitting a solo shot. The Norsemen offense continued to shine in the 11-5 victory in game one.
Eliott Marin added a two-run home run in the fourth inning. The Norsemen relied on
Max Burroughsford to throw the complete game. He struck out 7 and allowed 5 runs in the game.
Gram Mitchell and
Adrian Santana had a good day at the plate as well both going 3 for 4 and both scoring runs during the game.
Game 2- 2/16/26- The Norsemen were fired up after the game one win and carried that offensive firepower into game two. Labette jumped out to an early 4-0 lead, however that was no match for the Golden Norsemen.
Gram Mitchell extended the lead in the fourth inning with a grand-slam. Tha powered a seven run inning for the Norsemen. They continued to make it difficult on the Labette pitching staff adding six more runs in the seventh inning.
Raine Kreklewetz hit his second home-run in two games during the seventh inning.
Gram Mitchell stepped up to the plate in the seventh inning with bases loaded again. He sent a ball over the left-center wall for his second grand-slam of the game. He was 3 for 4 with eight RBI's for the game.
Camden Ryan and
Eliott Marin added two RBI's each.
Raine Kreklewetz added three RBI's and Caleb Anderson added one RBI for the game.
Dylan Akers picked up his second win on the mound while adding six strikeouts.
Damon Cochran came in to relieve and finish the game for the Norsemen.
Game 3- 2/17/26- The Norsemen opened up their first home game today. Labette traveled down for a single game. The Norsemen continued what they did best the past two games and that is offense. The Norsemen jumped out to score eight runs in the first inning.
Zach Menard hit a two run home run giving him his first home run of the year. The very next batter,
Jordan Forde, hit a solo shot to left-field. That was his first home run of the season as well. The Cardinals scored three runs throughout the game.
Marek Lalonde got the game three start and he went seven strong innings and struck out 5 batters.
Eliott Marin came into the game in the eighth inning in relief. Lalonde got his second win of the season. The Norsemen scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to extend their lead. Multiple players got involved offensively.
Jordan Forde went 5 for 6 on the day with two RBI's.
Eliott Marin went 2 for 2 with three RBI's and two walks. The Norsemen ended the day with 17 base hits while scoring their 13 runs.
Raine Kreklewetz walked off the game with an RBI single to force the run-rule in the eighth inning.
The Norsemen will host Neosho County Community College on Friday February 20, 2026 for a doubleheader at Homa Thomas Field in Miami, OK.
