Game 1- The Golden Norsemen hosted the Neosho County Panthers on Friday 2/20/26. The Norsemen started the game off scoring two in the opening frame. The Panthers offense gained momentum and gained the lead. At one point the Panthers were up 10-5 over the Norsemen. The Norsemen bats came alive in the 7
th inning as they scored 3 runs on hits from
Bronson Bouher and
Eliott Marin. They added 4 more runs in the bottom of 8
th inning to take the lead back from the Panthers.
Eliott Marin finished the game on the mound for the Norsemen getting the Win 14-10.
Eliott Marin was 4 for 5 with 4 RBI's.
Bronson Bouher went 3 for 4 and added 3 RBI's.
Game 2- The Norsemen head up to Chanute, KS for a doubleheader against the Panthers on Tuesday 2/24/26. The Norsemen offense continued to surge.
Jordan Forde led off the inning with a hit and was followed up with a hit by
Raine Kreklewetz. They scored 3 runs in the first inning on hits by
Eliott Marin,
Loic Guillemette, and
Gram Mitchell. They matched their run total in the second inning on a 2-run home-run from
Eliott Marin.
Shea Kuiack got the start on the mound. He pitched 3.1 innings and struck out 6 batters enroute to gaining the win on the mound. In the 4
th inning the bases got loaded for
Loic Guillemette. He hit a towering grand-slam to extend the lead 11-4. The Panthers gave it a good effort in the seventh but the Norsemen came out on top with a final of 11-7.
Game 3- The Norsemen were looking to get the sweep against the Panthers in game 3 however the Panthers had other ideas. The Panthers jumped out to an early 3-run lead over the Norsemen.
Eliott Marin gave the Norsemen a spark in the 4
th inning as he blasted a solo home-run. A couple of batters later
Gram Mitchell also hits a solo home-run. The Norsemen tie it up at 3 runs in the 5
th inning with an RBI from
Jordan Forde. The Panthers scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 5
th inning. The Norsemen score two more in the 6
th on RBI's from
Kaleb Anderson and Hudson Henegan. Eliot Marin adds to his monstrous series with a 2-run home-run in the top of the 7
th inning. The Norsemen came up short 7-8 to end the game.
