Box Score The NEO Lady Norse drop the conference opener to Rose State, losing 1-5 game one and 2-8 game two. The bats were quiet on the day, only tallying ten hits. Corissa Bandel led the way with four hits and two stolen bases. Jayley Ray had two hits; and Caylee Cheaney, Morgan Barnes, Chloe Gurley, and Addi Hall each had a hit a piece. The pitching did well on the day with Dasia Mason going the distance, giving up nine hits on five runs, only one earned, one HBP, walking none, and striking out four. Corissa Bandel and Jill McDaniel combined for game two. Bandel went 3.1 innings, gave up three hits on six runs, none earned, with one walk and a strikeout, holding the opposing offense to a .176 BAA. McDaniel came in and closed, going 3.2 innings, only giving up two hits on two runs, none earned, with five walks and two strikeouts, keeping Rose State at a .143 average.
