On Thursday September 2^nd NEO made the long trip to Hot Spring, AR for a match up with National Park Junior College. Dembe Lubowa made his first start for the Norsemen this year. He had previously be unavailable due to injury. It didn't take long for Lubowa to make an impact on the game when he opened the scoring at the 15 minute mark. After the goal, the game had the feeling that NEO would soon add on. Several attempt later the score stood at 1-0. With about 10 minutes remaining in the half National Park would turn the tide of the game by scoring on a breakaway for the equalizer.
The second half start with a back and forth battle between the two team. In the 67^th minute Victor Mos put the Norsemen ahead 2-1 when he scored a header off of a perfect cross from Sergio Gonsales. National Park created a few chances for the equalizer from that point, but the majority of closing minutes were controlled by NEO. With less than 5 minutes remaining on the clock, Lukas Erstad put the game on ice by converting a set piece goal to put NEO up 3-1.
