Scoring early and late in the second half sealed a 2-0 victory for the Soccer Norsemen against St. Charles CC. While the Norsemen held the majority of the possession in the first half the initial 45 minutes would end in a 0-0 stalemate.
In the second half however NEO would waste no time getting on the board. Just 45 seconds after kick off Dylan Galhardo found the net after a penetrating run by Draye Richey. Richey played a ball back out to Galhardo who placed a two touch shot in the far corner of the net. That goal would set the tone for the half. NEO would dominate play allowing only 3 shot attempts by St. Charles in the rest of the half. It wouldn't be until the 88^th minute however, that the Norsemen would put the game on ice. Draye Richey, supported by Caden Stumpff would finish a break away attack to seal the victory.
