Ivy Fink

Ivy Fink has been hired as an assistant volleyball coach for NEO A&M College.

She has a ton of volleyball knowledge with a rich background in the sport.  Coach Fink played for the Pittsburg State University Gorillas for the last two years. She had 348 kills, led the team in service aces, and was second in digs.  She was recruited as a ds/lib, but soon took on an outside hitting role.  Prior to Pitt State, she played at Butler Community College for coach Lisa Lechtenberg from 2021-23 ... During her career there Fink appeared in 77 games with 851.5 points, 727 digs, 697 kills, 104 total blocks (79 assisted) and 90 service aces in 267 sets to average 3.19 points, 2.62 kills and 2.24 digs per set ... Named a second-team NJCCA Division 1 All-American in 2022 after being named to the All-National Tournament Team in 2021 ... Part of the 2022 KJCCC Co-Conference champions team and the 2021 KJCCC Conference and Region champions with the Grizzlies. 

Fink was a four-year letter winner at Royal Valley High School for Coach Gary Armstrong in volleyball, along with being a four-year letter winner as a part of the track and field program for the Panthers ... On the volleyball court she finished her career with 1,553 kills, 856 digs, 180 service aces and 89 blocks earning All-State honors three times, All-County honors every year and was listed as the Best of KS Preps in 2019 ... Part of the Panthers 2019 3A State Championship team.

“We are so excited to have Ivy on board with our program,”said NEO’s head coach Sarah Wall.   “ Even though she is a young coach, she has a wealth of knowledge about volleyball, was in the junior college ranks and will be in charge of our defensive specialists, serving and primary passers.  I am excited to start working with her and I know our players already love her and are ready to work for her as well.”
