Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Athletics

Coach Casey Powell, Catoosa, Oklahoma, was a member of the 2014 NJCAA National Championship Team for NEO at 165 lbs. earning an NJCAA West-Central Regional Title. He works with the upper middle weight wrestlers. He wrestled at Oklahoma City University before attending NEO. After leaving NEO he then was a starter at the University of Nebraska-Kearney on the 2015 NCAA D-2 National Runnerup team, where he finished fifth in the super-regional. In 2015-16 he helped guide the NEO program to the NJCAA National Championship.

Casy attended Claremore High School where he was coached by HM Chapman and was a member of four OKlahoma Class 5A State teamTitles and was a one time state place winner. He resides in Russell Hall as a dormitory monitor. He is currently a student at Pittsburg State.
