Assistant Coach Lauren (Iverson) Strack enters her 10th season as an assistant coach with the Lady Norse Softball program. During her 9 year stint, the Lady Norse have captured 5 Region II titles that all earned trips to the NJCAA National Tournament. Lauren is the pitching coach and also assists with infield play in the program.
Prior to accepting the assistant softball position at NEO, Lauren started her collegiate career at the University of Arkansas where she was recruited as a corner infielder/utility player. After one short year she transferred to NEO where she played short stop and helped her team to a 54-4 regular season record under head coach Eric Iverson. After NEO, Lauren signed with the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders where she was a two year starter at shortstop and helped TAMUCC to a conference title in 2011. While playing at TAMUCC Lauren received her bachelor’s degree in English.
Along with assisting at NEO, Lauren is in year 9 at Miami High School where she teaches English and is the head coach of the Lady Wardog Softball team. 
Lauren’s parents are Eric and Keni Iverson, and she has one sister, Emilee Iverson. She and her husband Jeremy Strack reside in Grove, OK. The couple have two sons, Cooper Strack  and Colton Strack.
