Blake Mills is entering his first season as an Head Men's Basketball Coach for the NEO Golden Norse Men’s basketball program. Mills began his college coaching career in 2018 as the Assistant for NJCAA Region 2 rival Eastern Oklahoma State College under veteran coach Scott Edgar. Mills played under Coach Edgar at Eastern before returning to coach. He earned an associate’s degree in general studies from Eastern, a bachelor's degree in organizational leadership from Rogers State, and a master’s degree in sports administration from Southeastern Oklahoma State.
In Coach Mills’ first season at Eastern, he helped guide the Mountaineers to a 20-9 overall record, while remaining undefeated at home. In his last season Eastern once again eclipsed the 20-win mark by reaching an overall record of 20-10. During his time at Eastern he was responsible for recruiting, player development, academic progress, planning travel, and budget management. While at Eastern, Coach Mills had the privilege of developing a pair of Region II All-Freshman athletes and two first team all-region players.
Mills previously coached with the AAU program Oklahoma Run PWP. This program was the only Under Armour sponsored program in the state of Oklahoma at the time.
