Richie Woods is in his first season as the Equipment Manager for the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College Football Team.
Woods is accredited from the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA) and oversees all aspects of equipment and apparel for the football team.
Woods comes to NEO A&M from Missouri Southern State University where he served as the head equipment manager. Prior to MSSU, Woods was also the Equipment Manager at Coffeyville Junior College from 2012-2013. Before joining Coffeyville Junior College, Woods was a student assistant with the running backs at Southern Methodist University in 2010. Woods served as a student assistant with Pittsburg State from 2007 to 2011, He began his career in 2003 as a student assistant at Kansas State University.
A native of Caney, Kan., Woods graduated from Kansas State in 2006 with a degree in mathematics and accounting. He has a Masters degree in coaching and recreation administration from Pittsburg State and a masters in sports management from the University of the Southwest
