Roger Ward is the long-time head baseball coach at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) in Miami, Oklahoma, where he recently achieved his historic 900th career coaching victory in March 2026. Prior to starting his 29-year coaching tenure with the Golden Norsemen, his own playing career took root at Stillwater High School, continued at Edmonds Community College, and culminated at Oklahoma State University, where he played collegiate baseball and graduated in 1993. This deep on-field background helped him build a storied coaching career highlighted by multiple conference titles and a trip to the 2005 JUCO World Series. Beyond the diamond, he has been married to his wife, Suesan, for 38 years, and together they have four children: Meghan, Tayelor, Kalleigh, and Nathan.
