Box Score 2 Lady Norse went on the road for the first time of the 2026 season and took two games from the Allen Red Devils. NEO closed out game one in six innings with an 8-0 victory. RHP Gracie MacIntosh threw a gem of a game, giving up only one hit and striking out nine, while not allowing Allen to score in the game. The offense really struck in the second and sixth innings, putting up five runs in the second, and adding another three in the sixth to end the game early. Morgan Barnes got it rolling with a single up the middle. Bri Peper drew a nine pitch walk, Caylee Holcomb added another walk with Helm getting hit by a pitch; and with bases loaded, catcher Addisen Hall came up and hit a laser off the left field foul pole for her first grand slam of the season. The sixth inning offense was started off by a Kyler Howe single, Barnes double, Peper sacrifice bunt, Bieber followed it up with a double, and Holcomb tacked on a bunt single to push another three runs. Defense was clean, with zero errors.
Game two went in NEO's favor with a full team 5-1 victory. The Lady Norse opened the scoring in the top of the third inning with Bieber leading off with a double to center field, Holcomb, Helm, and Hall followed it up with singles. Holcomb would come around and score again in the fifth inning with a stolen base and an RBI single by Hall. The offense tacked on the last two runs in the top of the seventh to secure the win. Morgan Barnes earned the with, allowing five hits and one run (unearned), striking out nine and walking one in six innings. Avery Johnson came in for the bottom of the seventh, giving up no hits, no walks, and striking out one.
The Lady Norse will be at Iverson Field for the first home games of the season on Monday, February 9th against Barton. First pitch is slated for a 3pm start time.
