Lady Norse Fall in Battle of Unbeatens

Heading into today's matchup, both the NEO Lady Norse and the Murray State College Aggies were undefeated, with one team destined to take its first loss of the season. After a hard-fought contest, it was NEO that came up short, falling 65–57 to the Aggies.

The Lady Norse battled throughout, despite facing early foul trouble in the post that forced NEO to rely heavily on contributions from the bench. Freshman guard Saniyah Morrison led the way offensively, finishing with a team-high 17 points. NEO showed resilience and fight on both ends of the floor, keeping the game within reach deep into the contest, but was unable to overcome the Aggies down the stretch.

Despite the tough loss, the Lady Norse remain focused as they prepare to return to action on Monday, when they hit the road to take on Seminole State College. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
