The NEO volleyball team lost a 5 set thriller in Allen on Friday night. The Norse lost the first 2 sets and bounced back to win the 3rd set 25-21 and then dominated 25-6 in the 4th set. The momentum shifted in the fifth as Allen came back to an 8-3 start. The Norse couldn't find a way to bounce back and lost 15-8 in the fifth set. Freshman

Kaesha Walter added 12. "We are playing extremely hard and we are facing very hard competition every match", said head coach
Sarah Wall. "We keep focused on trying to learn and have a growth mindset instead of a fixed mindset. With each set, we got better, our attacking percentage improved as did our serve receive. As long as these young women continue to work, they will have a great future. We are focused on going to Labette County and finishing an entire match on Monday at 6:00pm. Then we will worry about much improved Rose State at home on Wednesday."
