The inaugural A&M Softball Classic was held at Cowgirl Stadium in Stillwater, OK. We greatly appreciate Dr. Kyle Stafford and Eric Iverson for making this event possible and for OSU for hosting the event. 

NEO fell short despite having the same number of hits as Connors State. The Lady Norse opened up scoring first with Emily Carpenter hitting an in the park home run to deep center field in the bottom of the second inning. Morgan Bandy hit a solo home run over the left field fence in the fifth, and Dasia Mason scored in the sixth inning, Mason getting on by a single to left field. Morgan Wright and Mason both had a walk in the game. Kayley Iott led the offense with two hits in three at bats. Mason, Carpenter, and Bandy all had a hit a piece.  The three RBI in the frame were split between Carpenter, Bandy, and Morgan Barnes. 

Freshman lefty Dasia Mason started the game, going four innings; giving up 5 hits on 6 runs (0 earned) with one walk and one strikeout. Morgan Barnes threw three innings in relief, having an almost perfect stat line, giving up 0 hits, 0 runs, 1 walk, 1 hit by pitch, and 3 strikeouts. 

The Lady Norse are back in action the next week, finishing up regular season play with game games.

Thursday 5/1- NOC Enid. 2pm (double header)

Saturday 5/3- Labette. 2pm (double header)
