Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 NEO went up for a non-conference double header to Kansas City, KS on Monday to take on the KCKCC Blue Devils. Game one went in favor or KCK despite Mason throwing a complete game, only giving up four hits, one walk and three strikeouts. The Blue Devils scored two unearned runs and that was enough to seal the win. The Blue Devil pitching was tough, only giving up a hit to Kayley Iott and a walk to Dasia Mason. Iott also had a SAC fly in the first inning. Corissa Bandel reached on an error in the first inning and stole a base.

Game two The Lady Norse put up three runs in the fifth inning to go ahead but ended up losing 3-5 after giving up 5 in the fifth. Jill McDaniel Started in the circle, going four innings, giving up five hits, on five runs (3 earned) three walks and two strikeouts. Morgan Barnes came in relief in the fourth inning, pitching to five batters and Corissa Bandel finished the game with 1.1 innings pitched. The Lady Norse out hit KCK, having eight hits in the game. Maci Brown led the offense with three hits in three at bats, Emily Carpenter had two hits (a single and a double), and Chloe Gurley, Kayley Iott, and Madison Pratt each had a hit. Carpenter and Madi Norton both had an RBI. Both Bandel and Carpenter both had a stolen base.

The Lady Norse return to conference play as they take on Connors State in a double header on Thursday, March 27^th in Warner, OK.
