The NEO Lady Norse lost 1-3 on the road against the Connors State Cowgirls on Sunday afternoon.
Coming off a draw at home to rival Crowder, the Lady Norse were ready to play NEO's first road game of the season. In the first half, the Lady Norse tallied four shots with two shots on goal. Connors State struck first in the 3
rd minute of the game. The lone caution of the game was awarded to NEO defensive specialist

th minute. Then, the Lady Norse answered with a goal of their own in the 13

he Lady Norse first-half defense held strong as the Cowgirls took four corner kicks compared to NEO's zero. The second half was a battle. NEO took three shots with one shot on goal. The Lady Norse were disciplined with only two fouls, but the Cowgirls would strike again. In the 69
th minute, the Cowgirls scored to go ahead 2-1. Connors State would score one more time in the match in the 78
