Box Score MIAMI,Okla. – The NEO Norse volleyball team take care of business in their home opener, defeating the Labette Cardinals 3-0. 
 
Freshmen Kaesha Walter led the charge for the Norse with nine kills. Sophomore outside, Avery Flinton added six kills as NEO won the match, 25-16, 25-18, 25-19. 
 
The Norse started strong taking a 7-1 lead in both the first and second sets, receiving contributions from Elizabeth Wells, Hart and Walter.
 
Setter Ridglee Thompson ended the night with 15 assists, while Miya Carnes put in nine and Brooke Walker added four assists. 
 
Libero Galatia Andrew went back to serve with the contest tied at 19 all in the third set and served the Norse out leading NEO on a 7-0 run to secure the victory over the Cardinals. 
 
NEO is back in action this weekend, traveling to Sioux City, Iowa for the Siouxland Volleyball Invitational, taking on No. 7-ranked Iowa Central and No. 18-ranked Central Community College on Friday, August 30.
