"This was a very important series for us.  We were head to head with Rose for the 3 seed in the Region II Tournament ... 3 Wins would have secured it for us ... the bracket allows seeds 1,2 & 3 a 3 game route to win it ... the 4&5 seed must play 4 games to win it ... we had a great start from Arch to win game 3 ... Jackson Smith and Tommy Caya both had home runs and gave us the offensive momentum to finish them off ... we need to take care of business with Eastern this week so that we go into Region II Tournament with momentum."  WARD
