The Golden Norse Volleyball Wins their season opener against Ozark Christian ambassadors, giving coach Sarah Wall her first Victory at NEO. Freshman Parker Long made her big debut with 17 Kills, followed by Avery Flinton with 9 Kills, and Savannah Merriman with 8 kills. Leading in assist is Makenna Mathis with 18 followed by Savannah Merriman with 9. Capri Williams lead with 14 digs followed by savannah Merriman with11. Coach Wall is very pleased with the teams performance. " We were excited to finally begin our season.We started off passing and serving very well. We struggled with unforced errors in the second set, but recovered in the 3rd and fourth set with serve & serve receive receive consistency which helped us win, but we have a long way to go in the fundamentals of volleyball, 'We are going into this weekend against the #4 team ranked in the nation, we are going to need to play at a higher speed and improved on our defense but we are looking forward to the challenge and strive to become better everyday."
