The Lady Norse battled in a 2-1 loss with RCC Sunday afternoon. 

"It was a tough game. Region games are always competitive and this one was no different. We have been down in numbers due to early season injuries.  We finally got some girls back on the pitch today," said Coach Lisa Bell. "We have been working on getting the defense to step into the offense and create opportunities and these girls made that happen today."

The Lady Norse were down 1-0 when sophomore defender Mia Howard received a drop ball from the flag.  She laid it off to sophomore defensive midfielder Meadow Dezoete who placed the ball in the back of the net tying the game 1-1. Unfortunately that ended the scoring for the Lady Norse. 

The next game is Wednesday the 7th 3:00pm vs Seminole.
