NEO Lady Norse Varsity fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 8-0 loss to Murray State College on Sunday for game one. NEO struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Murray State College, giving up eight runs. A single by Destiny Tune in the first inning was a positive for the Lady Norse. Evy Aud took the loss for NEO. The right-hander surrendered six runs on five hits over four innings, striking out three and walking zero. Tune, Hailey Haskell, Kate Faber, and Payton Compton each managed one hit. For game two NEO watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 6-2 loss. Kate Faber took the loss for NEO. The righty lasted six innings, allowing 12 hits and six runs while striking out three and walking zero. Faber led NEO with two hits in three at bats. The Lady Norse were sure-handed for game two and didn't commit a single error in the field. Hailey Haskell made the most plays with four.
