NEO Men's soccer team dropped a disappointing home opener against Murray State College on Aug 22. Early mistakes put the Norsemen down three in the first half of play. Things settled a bit going into the second half. NEO managed to slow the Murray State attack, but did not produce many chance of their own. It looked as though the game would end with a 3-0 loss for the Norsemen, but an defensive miscue in the final 8 minutes allowed Murray State a break away opportunity that would tack on one more goal to the deficit. Leaving the final score at 4-0.
The Men's soccer team looks to rebound on Aug 25^th with a non-conference home game against the number 19^th ranked team in the country, Cowley County.
