A well played first half wasn't enough to get NEO past #19 ranked Cowley County. NEO defended well in the first half against a very strong Cowley County attack and managed to go to the half allowing only 1 goal. In the minutes leading to up to the break NEO manage to push forward and created a few chances of their own, but the equalizer never came. The second half was a different story. Cowley County found the net 4 times with 3 of the goals coming in the final 20 minutes.
The Norsemen will regroup and head to Rose State College on Sunday August 29^th for their second Conference match of the year.
