The Lady Norse completed their first preseason scrimmage against Evangel University. 

"We limped into the scrimmage with a very limited roster," said Head Coach Lisa Bell. "We have had good practice sessions and we have tried to limit injury but sometimes it just happens."

The Lady Norse played 3, 30 minute sessions with Evangel. Within the 90 minute scrimmage Sophomore Destiny Ladd scored 3 goals and Sophomore  Madie Heffelman scored a PK. 

"We definitely have some kinks to work out but overall I'm proud of the effort given. When you walk to the pitch with a limited roster to play a roster of 30 it can be hard to stay focused. The girls stayed focused, worked hard, and saw some success," said Bell.

The Lady Norse travel to RSU Wednesday.
