NEO Golden Norse Upend Coffeyville

Head Coach Jeremy Jackson's 4-1 NEO Men's Basketball Team walked away with an 81-73 victory over the 16th ranked Coffeyville Red Ravens Tuesday evening at the NEO Fieldhouse.   The back and forth game stayed close until a late surge by the Golden Norse sealed the win.  Leading the way for NEO was Brian Moore Jr. with 26 points and 8 assists.  Jonathan Mogbo continued his double double streak finishing with 23 points and a game high 14 rebounds.  Adnan Hussein and Thomasi Gilgeous-Alexander each chipped in 9 points to help pace the Norse.

Next up for NEO is a weekend trip to Fort Scott where they play Bethel JV (6:00pm Friday)  and Southwestern Christian JV (2:00pm Saturday).  The next home game will the Region 2 season opener when Murray State comes to town Thursday the 18th.  Game time is set for 7:30pm immediately following the women's game.
