On October 21^st NEO lost a 1-5 decision at Rich Mountain to finish a disappointing 2021 season. From the very beginning the Norsemen were up against a tough schedule. With Nationally ranked teams in and out of conference the strength of schedule was a bump up from recent years. Coming into the season the team looked at that fact as a challenging opportunity.
The results however for 2021 did not manifest in the way the team had envisioned. A season of well-played games marked by near misses on offense and defensive miscues resulted in a 3-11-2 overall record.
Men's soccer will now regroup and move forward with off season training as they look to initiate a turnaround that starts immediately.
