With 6/8 shots on frame in the first half and 5/5 shots on frame in the second half the Lady Norse cinch the conference game against Redlands 5-2!
The team a few break downs early on. The Lady Norse got out ahead 7 minutes into the game with a goal for
Seyton Thomas off a pass from Alexandria (Lexi) Baker.
Redlands answered back less then 2 minutes later.
With 14 minutes left in the seconds half Redlands scored their second and final goal of the game.
A pass from
Kenzie Saul to
Seyton Thomas allowed the Lady Norse to tie the game up at 2-2.
With four minutes remaining on the clock
Molly Knox took a corner kick finished by her sister
Megan Knox ending the half NEO 3 Redlands 2.
The second half brought about the final goal of a hat trick for
Seyton Thomas off a pass from
Payton Smith.
The final goal of the game was a PK by
Brianna Cox after
Kylie Wilson moved the ball up the field from the defense and got fouled in the box.
The Lady Norse are now 1-0-1 in OCAC play.
