The Lady Norse stepped onto the pitch to scrimmage for the first time Saturday.
"All in all it was a successful outing," said head coach
Lisa Bell. "We were able to move the ball around well. I had the opportunity to try different combinations of player out. I think we took a big step in the right direction today and will be even better prepared for our next scrimmage."
The Lady Norse travel to Springfield Wednesday to play Evangel in their second and final scrimmage before they open the season at Cowley County.
