Norse get swept on the road by #19 Connors State ... "It was a very competitive series for use ... its unfortunate that we could not get out of there with a win or two, or all three for that matter ... we got walked off twice and lost a 6-4 for game ... we could have won all three games with one more key hit, one more key play or one more key pitch ... the boys have continued to improve each week and i'm sure they are frustrated with being so close but unable to get it done in the end ... one thing they continue to bring is an expectation to win, a never go away approach  and faith in each other that we will find a way to get it done in the end ... Game 1:
Soph LHP Tanner Barmlage give the Norse a solid start going 5 innings giving up 3 earned runs and striking out 5 ... a couple errors contributed to the other 3 runs that made the difference in the game ..
Soph CF Colton Marion leads the offensive attach going 1 fo 3 for the day with a double and 2 RBI's

Note:    The Norse out hit Connors 10 to 5 but failed to win due to defensive flaw

Game 2
Freshman RHP Edouard Savoie gets the loss in relief but gives the Norse a strong 6 1/3 innings giving up only 1 earned run and striking out 3 ...
The 20 hit attach from the Norse saw Freshman 1B Hayden Hutchens lead the way with 4 hits an RBI and a triple ... Soph Shortstop Erasmo Mavarez drives in 3 runs ... Freshman OF Jake Ervin and 2B Hector Candelaria have 3 hits on the day each

Note:    Two extra inning errors contribute to the walk-off lose ... the Norse out hit the Cowboys on the day but could not get it done late losing the series sweep by a total of 4 runs ...
