In the 2nd half of conference play the Lady Norse drop a tough one to NOC on the pitch at NEO today.

"We played 90 minutes as well as I've seen the girls play.  It was a tough loss for us.  I felt like we had good energy and focus prior to the start of the game.  The girls came out strong and played the ball well.  We got close on a few attempts and finally put a few passes together over 1/2 way through the first 1/2 resulting in a goal by Sosa Garcia.  It's always nice to score the first goal because that helps increase the energy on the field."  said Coach Lisa Bell.  

Unfortunately after the first goal, the Lady Norse couldn't find the back of the net again.

NOC came back and scored in the last 15 minutes of the 2nd half off of an inadvertent hand ball  by NEO.

They ended up finishing another goal with roughly 7 minutes left in regulation play.

The Lady Norse are back at home Thursday hosting Rose State.

"The last time we played NOC we had the lead twice and lost within the last few minutes.  The last time we played Rose State we had the lead and again lost.  I'm thinking we need to change this pattern!  Thursday, Thursday is the day! We've been working on getting the ball on frame all week and we were 17/22 today so we still have some work to do but we are moving in the right direction." said Coach Bell. "We'd love to see as many supporters as we can Thursday for this next conference matchup."
