Great win for the Lady Norse Soccer Team on Red Robertson field Wednesday!

The ladies struggled to find the net early but a 2nd half goal from Sosa Garcia assisted by goal keeper Payton Thompson put them on the scoreboard. 

Later in the half midfielder Molly Knox placed a nice corner kick into the 18 where sophomore midfielder Cassidy Rumsey was able to head the ball in for the team's 2nd and final goal of the game. 

"I'm proud of the girls and the work they put into practices this week. You can see a difference in our play from our first game to this last one and I believe there's a direct correlation between the effort they've put in to making changes and the results of the game." Said head coach Lisa Bell. 

"We need to keep this growth and momentum moving into this weekend." Said Bell

The Lady Norse go 3-4 on the season moving into the next conference game at ECU vs Seminole.
