MIAMI — After building a 3-0 lead, the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College Lady Norse staved off a late rally by the Metropolitan Community College-Blue River Lady Trail Blazers soccer squad, Thursday, to gain a 3-2 victory at Red Robertson Field.
With the win, the Lady Norse (2-1) conclude a two-match home-stand at 6 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 11, with an Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference match against Seminole State College. The Belles are 1-0-2 overall.

Chloe Shipway scored an unassisted goal at the 16-minute mark to give the Lady Norse a 1-0 lead through the first 45 minutes of play.
Nine minutes into the second half at the 54-minute mark, redshirt freshman forward Morgan Wooton received a pass from sophomore midfielder
Teresa Loredo to create a 2-0 Lady Norse margin.

Zarah Arnaud scored an unassisted goal two minutes later as NEO constructed a 3-0 shutout.
Taking advantage of a penalty kick, the Lady Trail Blazers (2-2) got on the scoreboard at the 84-minute mark on a goal by Brooke Howe.
Four minutes later an unassisted goal by Sam Berg created a 3-2 deficit for MCC-Blue Ridge.
