MIAMI — Three first half goals carried the No. 20 ranked Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College Golden Norsemen to a 3-0 shutout Thursday in the home opener at Red Robertson Field over the Metropolitan Community College-Blue River Trail Blazers.

John Parrigon's Norsemen are 2-1 on the season while the Trail Blazers from Lees-Summit, Missouri are 2-3 on the year.
The Golden Norsemen host the Crowder Community Roughriders at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The Roughriders are 2-1 overall.

Casey Johnson scored an unassisted goal to boost the Golden Norsemen to a 2-0 margin.
NEO's final goal by Victor Arias off a pass from Gustavo Requeijo ended the scoring run as time ticked off the first half.
