Eight Norsemen Wrestlers in Last Home Match
Tomorrow, Wednesday evening (1/27/2016) at 7:00 PM eight Norsemen wrestlers will participate in their final home match of their careers representing Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College as the grapplers host Labette Community College in the Student Activity Center.
Two wrestlers have been at NEO for three years and leave as redshirt sophomores:Dillon McCaleb, Coweta, OK has a career record of 22-37 and includes a 2015 West Central District Runner-up and National Qualifier on his resume.
Jacob Hill, Augusta, KS has a career record of 43-30, including earning 2015 Academic All-American status.
Sophomores having spent two years at NEO include:Dawaylon Barnes, Muskogee, OK has earned a career record of 50-14 and was also a 2015 Academic All-American.
Jacobe Smith, Muskogee, OK has a career record of 65-6 (92% winning record) earning the 2015 National Championship title at 174 lbs.
Josh Latham, Chickasha, OK has a career record of 35-27.
Kristian Holguin-Mendez, Sapulpa, OK has a 50-21 career record earning a third place at the 2015 National Tournament and All-American status.
Mitchell Sellers, Tahlequah, OK has a career record of 27-18.
Also completing his career at NEO is sophomore transfer from Ouachita Baptist University:Blake Andrews, Grapevine, TX with a one year NEO record of 34-5. Andrews was 26-8 at Ouachita in 2015 for a career wrestling record of 60-13.

Joe Renfro, "Each of these outstanding young men have dedicated their time and lives to NEO wrestling over the past years and I appreciate who they are and what they have done for our program and our school. Although this is our last home match, these men are certainly not done yet, as each is invested in the goal to be a National Champion and to bring home another National Championship to NEO. They have bonded as a team and follow the motto they developed,
