The Golden Norse wrestling team traveled to Pratt Community College, Pratt, Kansas on Thursday evening, (11/13/2014) and came away with a 51-0 shutout victory.  The win raised the NEO record to 2-1 on the young season.

Winning by fall for the Norsemen were Josh Ailey (Tonkawa, OK) 133 lbs.; Dawaylon Barnes (Muskogee, OK) 157 lbs.; Austin Allen (Perry, OK) 165 lbs.; Jacobe Smith (Muskogee, OK) 174 lbs.; and John Davison (Guthrie, OK) 285 lbs.  Recording a technical fall was Josh Latham (Chickasha, OK) 197 lbs. Timothy O'Connor (Guthrie, OK) 141 lbs. won with a major decision, while Brock Warren (Broken Arrow, OK) 184 lbs., and Zack Dobbins (Cowetta, OK) 149 lbs. each won with a regular decision. At 125 lbs. Cullen Patterson (Salina, OK) won with a forfeit victory.

O'Connor (8-0) and Barnes (7-0) remain undefeated in all matches this season . Next up on the schedule is NCAA Division One powerhouse Oklahoma State this Sunday a 4 PM in the NEO Fieldhouse.
