Box Score SEMINOLE – Outscored 12 to eight in overtime, the Northeastern A&M Golden Norsemen suffered an 87-83 loss Thursday night in the Raymond Harber Fieldhouse to the Seminole State College Trojans.

Dustin Grover's Golden Norse capture a first-round bye to the Region 2 Tournament scheduled to start Wednesday in Shawnee. The Norsemen finish the regular season 10-8 in the Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference and 17-13 overall.
The Men's Division I Region 2 Tournament starts Wednesday in Shawnee. Pairings will be decided Sunday.
After trailing 40-39 and halftime, the Golden Norsemen rode a 20-point performance from
Derrick Frye to a 75-75 draw at the end of regulation. Along with Frye's 20 points, the Norse received 18 from Jeff Newberry, Nkosi Ali 17,
Ja'mill Powell 15, Frederico Santos 11 and
Luther Thomas two.
Killven Samuel tallied 27 points for the Trojans (6-11 and 9-18) while JoVaughn Love added 22, Tevin Bellinger 19, Kerby Lubin eight, Damontre Wright seven, Travis Galbreath two and Aiden Saunders two.
