Box Score WARNER – Sophomore guards Hakeem Harris and Josh Cameron combined for 43 total points to lead the Connors State Cowboys to a 79-68 victory Thursday night in the Melvin Self Field House over the Northeastern A&M Golden Norsemen.


Prior to returning home Monday for a 8 p.m. “Think Pink Night” game with Murray State, the Golden Norse are 7-6 in the Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference and 14-11 overall.
Connors head coach Bill Muse has guided the Cowboys to a 9-4 mark in the conference and an 18-5 season record.
After constructing a 44-31 cushion at halftime, the Cowboys finished with Harris scoring 23 points, Cameron 20, Denell Henderson 13, Devante Moore 10, Craig Hill six, Jamarcus Weatherspoon five and Troy Jones four points.
Freshman guard Jeff Newberry paced the Norsemen with 17 points, Nkosi Ali 14, Frederico Santos nine, Luther Thomas seven, Ja'mill Powell six, Terrance Clemens six, Javaune Dawson four, TJ Williams three and Derrick Frye two.
