SEMINOLE - Closing out the regular season on the road, Northeastern A&M's Golden Norsemen visit the Raymond Harber Fieldhouse Thursday for an 8 p.m. Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference confrontation with the Seminole State College Trojans.

With a three-game winning streak in tact, coach Dustin Grover's Norsemen are fourth in the conference with a 10-7 record. After posting a 108-99 victory over Carl Albert State College Monday night in Poteau, the Norse are 17-12 on the year.
"Right now we're playing well and we want this to continue and carry over into the tournament," Grover said. "We're getting balanced scoring from a lot of different people and we've been able to limit our turnovers and control the boards at both ends of the court."
Coach Brett Weiberg's Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa Mavericks has won the OCAC regular season crown with a 15-2 record. The Mavericks carry a 26-3 record to El Reno on Thursday to end the season against Redlands College (6-10 and 8-17).
Defending Region II Champion Connors State (11-5 and 21-6) and Murray State (10-5 and 13-11) are battling for second and third in the OCAC entering these final three days.
The official seeding for the Region II Tournament scheduled for March 8-10 in the Noble Complex at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee will be completed Sunday by the conference coaches.
All 10 OCAC teams plus Arkansas Baptist College of Little Rock will be seeded for the single elimination tournament. The top five teams receive a first round bye.
First-year head coach Ryan Quinn has guided the Seminole Trojans to a 5-11 record in the conference and a 9-18 overall mark. The Trojans were slated to play at Redlands on Monday, but the game was postponed because of snow until 8 p.m. Saturday.
Seminole snapped a six-game losing streak on Feb. 23 with a 68-47 victory over Carl Albert at home. Since returning from Christmas break in January, the Trojans have won only three games.
"None of that really matters because Seminole is always a very tough place to play," Grover said. "They will have a good crowd and they always create a hostile environment when we come to town."
Against the Trojans on Jan. 23 in the NEO Fieldhouse, the Golden Norsemen rallied from a 45-43 halftime deficit to capture an 87-72 victory. During a five-minute span late in the second half the Norsemen went on an 11-2 run for an 81-70 cushion.
Nkosi Ali and Fred Santos each produced a double-double foor NEO. Ali tallied 23 points and 12 rebounds while Santos contributed 11 points and 14 boards. Jeff Newberry tacked on 20 total points.
Killven Samuel led the Trojans with 18 points, Michael Bowlers 17, JoVaughn Love 16 and Damonte Wright 13.
The dynamic duo of Santos and Ali rank one-two in the conference in rebounding. Santos leads the league with 343 total rebounds and a 12.2 average. Ali has collected 212 boards for an 8.2 mark.
Santos and Newberry are tied for ninth in the OCAC with a 14.4 scoring average. Santos also leads the region in field goal shooting with 150 of 218 for 69 per cent while Newberry leads the league with 115 assists.
Ali ranks second in the conference with 47 blocked shots.
