Lady Norse Split With Labette In Home Opener

After eight days of no action, the No. 6 ranked Northeastern A&M Lady Norse split a double-header Sunday afternoon with the Lady Cardinals of Labette (Kan.) Community College on the NEO diamond.


The Lady Cardinals (2-7) gained a 6-1 victory in the first game before the Lady Norse (3-3) posted an 8-1 win in the nightcap.
Weather permitting the Lady Norse are scheduled to travel to Neosho, Mo., on Wednesday for a 2 p.m. double-header with Crowder College. The Lady Riders are 5-2 on the young season.
