Box Score POTEAU – Connecting on a near-perfect 10 of 11 field goals, freshman forward Frederick Santos scored 25 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the Northeastern A&M Golden Norsemen to a 71-61 victory Monday night in the Mickey Thompson Fitness Center over Carl Albert State College.

Dustin Grover's Golden Norse are 15-12 on the season and 8-7 in the Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference. The Norsemen conclude the home portion of the schedule Thursday with “Sophomore Night” at 8 p.m. against Redlands State College in the NEO Fieldhouse.
Head coach Mike St. John's Vikings are in a “spoilers role”. The Vikings are 1-14 in the OCAC and 3-21 overall.
Santos reached the double-double plateau for the 21st time this season after the Norsemen got off to a blazing start by sinking 16 of 21 field goals for 76 per cent in the first half which crated a 34-20 margin.
