Volleyball Heads To Coffeyville Tournament

COFFEYVILLE, Kan. — Competing in their final volleyball  tournament of the regular season, Northeastern A&M's Norse travel to Coffeyville, Kan., Friday and Saturday to participate in the annual Spikefest in Nellis Hall on the campus of Coffeyville Community College.


Four teams from the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference join the Norse in the two-day event. 
Admission will be charged at the Nellis Hall entrance. Admission is $3 for adults and $1 for students 12 and under.
Coach Eric Iverson's Norse enter the Spikefest with a 10-9 season record following a three-game loss to Allen County Community College of Iola, Kan., Wednesday in the NEO Student Activity Center. The Red Devils won 25-15, 27-25 and 25-22 to stand 14-8 on the season.
Joining the Norse and the Red Devils in the Spikefest are the Coffeyville Red Ravens (13-9), Fort Scott Greyhounds (8-13) and the Independence Pirates (3-16).

Friday
11 a.m. - Fort Scott vs. NEO
1 p.m. - Allen vs. Fort Scott
3 p.m. - Coffeyville vs. Independence
5 p.m. - Allen vs. Independence
7 p.m. -  Coffeyville vs. NEO
Saturday
9:30 a.m. -  Independence vs. Fort Scott
11:30 a.m. -  Coffeyville vs. Fort Scott
1:30 p.m. - Coffeyville vs. Allen
3:30 p.m. - Independence vs. NEO
5:30 p.m. - NEO vs. Allen
