<span style="font-weight: bold;">Prior to NEO<br /></span>Laquieta came to NEO from Vian High School where she played for Head Coach Albus Ramos.  She was selected as the 2007 Big Eight Conference Pitcher of the Year, All Conference in 2008, and was named Conference MVP in 2006 and 2008.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Freshman year at NEO</span><br />Entered the Fall semester at NEO as a walk on right handed hitting outfielder, and finished the Fall semester as a Scholarship left handed slapper who could contribute in many ways.  As a first year slapper she hit .256 and was used as a spot starter,  a pinch hitter in lead off situations, and as a pinch runner.  Her biggest AB of the year was a pinch hit lead off single in the bottom of the 10th against Seminole where she eventually scored the winning run to defeat the Lady Trojans in Miami.<br />
