Coach Young comes from Keller, Texas. Young played soccer at NEO from 2010-2012 where he earned Second-Team All Region 2 his freshman year and earned First-Team All Region 2 his sophomore year and secured a Region 2 Title in 2011. Young has coached club soccer for Texas Lightning since 2016. Young is coming into his third year at NEO.
