Adam Young has been Head Coach of the Norsemen soccer program since the 2023 season. Coach Young played soccer at NEO from 2010-2012 where he earned Second-Team All-Region his freshman year and First-Team All-Region his sophomore year. He captained the Norsemen to their first ever Region 2 Title in 2011. He continued his collegiate soccer career at Rogers State University where he played from 2012-2014.
Adam has over 10 years coaching experience. Before joining the NEO Soccer staff, Adam was at Texas Lightning Soccer Club where he coached the under 12 girls and under 19 boys teams. Under Coach Young, the Norsemen finished Region 2 regular season play in 2nd place in 2024 and 3rd place in 2025. The Norsemen soccer program has had 3 straight Region Tournament appearances under Adam Young. He has coached 7 second team all-region and 4 first team all-region players. Coach Young has placed over 30 of his student athletes to NCAA and NAIA colleges after graduating NEO.
